  • 4 1" thick Pork chops
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Fresh Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 TBSP Olive Oil
  • 2 Pears, (firm, ripe) Washed, cored and quartered
  • 5 Shallots, peeled and quartered
  • 3/4 c Apple Cider (I used hard apple cider)
  • 1 tsp Ginger (fresh) minced
