Making Changes & Searching for a Purpose

I’m going to be making some changes to the website and the content that I provide. Hopefully it will be more engaging and enjoyable. I’ll admit, the possibility of earning income from this site was one of my main drives at the beginning. But I’ve been doing some soul-searching lately about what I want to do with my life and what exactly is my purpose. I still haven’t come to a full conclusion, but I do know that the possibility of being able to help others is more exciting to me than earning money. (Even though the money would be an added bonus <grin>) I’m not even sure that I have enough wisdom to impart, but I’m sure going to try.

I’m still going to write about the same topics I’ve been sharing with you, but I also want to purposeexpand and write about other things that I’ve experienced and learned. I don’t want to stick with a niche that will draw people to my blog in order to earn ad money. I want to be real with you and myself in my writing.

I’m working on a series of articles on grief that I’ll hopefully be sharing soon. I’ll also be writing about love after loss, our purpose, and other subjects as well as saving and earning money, crocheting, cooking, and anything else I feel strongly about.

I follow Elle Sommer’s blog Live Purposefully Now; she offers a lot of insight into the things I’m working on. I hope you will enjoy her thoughts too.

My venture in writing has definitely been a learning experience and I’m going to continue to search for my purpose. Along the way I want to be of service to someone with my words. I truly hope that I can accomplish my goal. Thank you for being a part of this endeavor.
