Porkchops with Pear, Sage and Cider Reduction

Materials
- 4 1" thick Pork chops
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Fresh Ground Black Pepper
- 1 TBSP Olive Oil
- 2 Pears, (firm, ripe) Washed, cored and quartered
- 5 Shallots, peeled and quartered
- 3/4 c Apple Cider (I used hard apple cider)
- 1 tsp Ginger (fresh) minced
